Who we are Running4

Maxton, or "Max" for short, was diagnosed with Pre-B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) on November 13, 2013 at age 2 years, 9 months. He likes trains, racecars, books, Curious George, Monsters Inc., Chipotle and playing with his friends. Max has an infectious smile and (generally) a happy disposition. But he is now in for the fight of his young life, facing years of treatment for his cancer.

When Max goes for treatment, he dons a special cape (courtesy of capes4heroes.com) and becomes "Super Max." Super Max fights cancer and makes everyone around him feel a little more brave in their own daily struggles.
In July 2014, Maxton's Fight, Inc., was incorporated as a foundation with the purpose of raising awareness and funding for children battling childhood disease. The foundation's first fundraiser event -- the SuperMax 5k Run/Walk & Kids SuperHero Dash -- will be held Sept. 27, 2014 in Topeka, KS.
